This nutrient packed recipe is an invigorating way to start your day.
This recipe uses a good amount of kale. Packed with calcium and antioxidants, kale is great for your body and mind. When juiced with lemon, apple, ginger and refreshing mint, kale makes for a refreshing ‘grassy’ lemonade.
Make Your Green Juice
- 1 cup of kale
- 1 lemon, skin and pith removed
- 1 large apple, roughly chopped
- 2.5cm piece of fresh ginger
- 1 sprig of fresh mint
Run through a juicer. Don’t have one? A blender and a strainer work just as well.
